How Billing Works
MIRA is a prepaid credits service. There are no subscriptions, billing cycles, or recurring charges.
- New accounts receive $3.00 in free credits to get started.
- All active accounts receive $0.25 in free daily credits (applied at 00:05 UTC) when your balance is below $0.25.
- Each message costs a small amount based on token usage at API rates plus a 1.7x infrastructure multiplier.
- You can deposit additional credits ($2–$150) at any time via credit card.
- Optional auto-recharge can be enabled to automatically add funds when your balance drops below $2.00.
No physical goods are sold or shipped. MIRA is a digital service only.
Refund & Dispute Policy
If you are unsatisfied with the service, you may request a refund of your unused deposited balance within 14 days of your most recent deposit. Free credits (daily drip and initial signup credits) are not refundable.
To request a refund, email support@miraos.org with the email address associated with your account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically process within 5–10 business days.
If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Cancellation & Account Deletion
Since MIRA uses prepaid credits with no recurring subscription, there is nothing to cancel. If you have auto-recharge enabled, you can disable it at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@miraos.org.
To delete your account entirely, contact support@miraos.org. Upon account deletion, all user data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Any remaining deposited balance is eligible for refund upon request.
Service Terms
MIRA is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice to active users.
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for abuse, violation of applicable law, or activity that degrades the service for other users.
Your data belongs to you. The open-source version of MIRA is functionally equivalent to the hosted version—all your data stays in your own PostgreSQL instance if you self-host.
Promotions
Promotional credit offers, when available, apply only to the terms stated at the time of the offer. Promotional credits cannot be combined with other offers and are limited to one per account unless otherwise stated. Promotional credits are non-refundable.
Legal & Export Restrictions
MIRA is available to users in jurisdictions where its use complies with local law. The service relies on third-party AI model providers and may not be used in violation of U.S. export controls or sanctions regulations. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the service complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
